Darren's Dash

This was the eighth running of the Wye Valley Runners; challenging 10k fell run on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, starting and finishing at Longtown.

This was another of the FODAC championship runs and a number of hardy souls braved the rain to take part.

This was the first year they had held an official class for Canicross Trailrunners and again there was a great turnout from the Forest.

The honours on the Cani were a great second place for Jacqui Good and Ripley, with hot on her heels in third Briar Morris and Derek.

The club was also in the prizes in the Junior section with an excellent second place for Cameron Francis.

Although not in the prizes but certainly deserving one was Julian Boon whose shoe broke part way round the course and managed to finish undeterred running with just one.
