Lara Anstee, who has been with her father's company since its creation, was there with her son Cai, who plays for the team, to hand over the new kit to coach Rob Shearer.
"The Beacon first reported on Monmouth Town FC back in 1876," said Lara, "it has been going strong ever since and we at Monmouthshire Conservatory Company want to keep it that way.
"As a family business we understand how important it is to support young people and community projects within the local area and my husband, Stuart, and I along with Cai's little brother, Ceiden who wants to join when he is old enough, have got involved as well."
After receiving the new kits Monmouth went on to play an enjoyable and evenly matched game against Wyesham Wanderers, all the children had great fun and some excellent football was played by both teams.
Monmouth Town Under 8s are always keen to recruit new boys and girls currently from school year 3.
During the winter months they train every Saturday morning at 10am to 11.30am on the all weather pitches at Monmouth Leisure Centre and move to Chippenham fields (opposite Waitrose) for the summer.
Training is led by FAW qualified coaches who aim to promote a fun and enjoyable environment with the emphasis on developing players of all abilities.
