A Chepstow school has taken delivery of new kits for its two hockey teams.

The Dell Primary School's 'A' and 'B' teams' kits have been provided and sponsored by Jon Daunter, a parent at the school who owns a business in Parkend.

The children have already worn the new kit for a regional competition at Caldicot Leisure Centre in which the 'A' team came second overall.

The hockey team practises every week as part of hockey club, which is run by teaching assistants Julia Bajjada, Morag Buchanan and Alison Binns.

Two weeks ago The Dell took delivery of its ActiveMark Cymru award, a benchmark that recognises schools that are committed to providing high quality PE, school sport and physical activity provision.
