MONMOUTH under-9s team turned out in force on Sunday for a mini tournament against visiting teams Raglan and Undy.

Team squads included Callum, Henry, Jake, Finley, Evan, Ellis, Alfie, Oscar, Dominic, Gregory, Rory, Luca, Toby, Harry, Owen, Joe and William.

Both Raglan and Undy turned out some strong players but once Monmouth found their feet, they proved worthwhile adversaries.

Coached by Rob Shearer and Dave Teague, the teams are on fine form this year and all players benefit from the hard work put in during training sessions at Monmouth Leisure Centre on Saturday mornings.
