Four players from Monmouth represented Crawshays on Wednesday 22nd January against one of the best rugby playing schools in Wales, Llandovery College.
Pictured from left to right, Rory Hammond, Jordan Southway, Max Davies and Trafford Squires represented a strong Crawshays Wales XV and helped them to secure a 14-0 victory in the 85th anniversary fixture between the two sides.
Rory Hammmond scored a scintillating try from 55 meters out, beating seven players in the process.
Lloyd Davies, chairman of Monmouth RFC, said: "It is great to see these young guys getting the opportunity to play such a great standard of rugby and for their ability as rugby players to be recognised by the Crawshays selectors.
"Three of the four Monmothians selected have not represented their region as yet, although I am sure that the Dragons will want to have a close look at all four after their performances against a very strong Llandovery College side."
