A Monmouth mum-of-two finished first in a midnight fun run in aid of St Michael's Hospice. Emma Pugh Oram has completed a number of events recently including the tough mudders at Glanusk and Eastnor Castle. The former Monmouth Comprehensive School pupil said the importance was not the winning of the race. "It is the taking part in raising money for such important charitable events that is so desperately needed to raise money for cancer research and wonderful places like St Michael's Hospice," she said. "This is the least I can do to respect those wonderful nurses, doctors and volunteers etc who make it all worthwhile."
