ON St David's Day, Monmouth Leisure Centre hosted the second Welsh Grading Trampoline Competition of the year.  It was good to see a very high grade competition held in Monmouth and to see so many local successes.

Monmouth Trampoline Club came away with six gold, nine silver, and three bronze medals.

Individual gold medalists were Emily Bevan in the National Development Plan (NDP) 4 event, Jessica Maylin in NDP 1, Lawrence Johnson in NDP 1.

Emily's score of 47.0 and Jessica's score of 46.3 were very impressive and may see them qualify for the British Regional Finals later in the year.

For once Morgan Bain was beaten into second place, but did score 51.8 points including his most difficult routine so far.

Erin Williams was another silver medal winner  with another excellent score of 47.0.  These two gymnasts may also qualify for the regional finals.

Other silver medal winners were Rose Jorgensen-Rideout in the NDP 5, and Tomos Rees in the NDP 2 groups.

After recent injury Darcy Birkett moved down a level to Regional 3 but was rewarded by winning a silver medal.

Imogen Cotton, in only her second competition in the Reg 3 came second, and Emma Chatterton in Reg 1 in her first competition also won a silver medal.

Bronze medals went to Laura Pritchard in NDP 3, Zoe Lambert in NDP 2 and Anna Porter in NDP 1.
