Monmouth Boys School was race HQ on 5th January for the four mile Kymin Fell Race. The temperatures were reasonably mild but wet with a number of FODAC runners taking part.
The start was on a narrow, muddy track and the track a mix of trails, mud, grass and rural lanes.
Every hundred yards or so there was a stile, a kissing gate or a sharp turn into a field to negotiate. A really varied course, technically because it's quite complex but without much in the way of steep climb.
Julian Boon was the highest placed in 15th positionn.
