MONMOUTH Town's junior football teams have continued on their recent good run of results with more victory's again last weekend.

With no game for the U12s team who lead the table for the past two weeks, Monmouth Albion have been able to close the gap on their older age group with and a 3-1 home victory over Garden City to move into third place.

With the top two teams due to play against each other this weekend it's still very close at the top as all the teams have now played each other once.

The football clubs' U14s maintained their top spot with another comfortable 14-1 home win against Chepstow Town, Sean Swann McBride top scored with 7 goals, with Ryan Bamford 2, George Antony 2 , Rory Meredith 1 and Andy Beams 1.

Their victory now puts them 3 points clear of the rest of the league.
