As always, the hall was packed with an enthusiastic and supportive audience.

Parents and friends were enthralled watching all the hard work and effort that the children had put into their display routines.

Representatives from Welsh Gymnastics and Monmouthshire County Council's sports department were also present, as was the Mayor of Monmouth.

The highlight of the evening was welcoming Chase Vaughan, the Monmouth girl who has just had a major operation.

The proceeds collected from the door entry, plus a donation from Monmouth Leisure Centre by the manager Nick Butler, were presented to her during the evening to help pay for the care she needs to aid her recovery.
