Girls from Inglefield House have entered their first gymnastics competition.

Youngsters from the prep school took part in the IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools) Floor and Vault Competition hosted by Holmewood House Preparatory School, Kent.

The girls who took part in the event, Lucy Creasey, Sky Ballantyne, Charley Cole, Charlotte Armstrong, Ruby Bradbury and Kia Ballantyne, ranged from Year 4 to Year 7.

The Inglefield House team won the award for the highest scoring new school, and finished 11th overall beating Stormont and Charters Ancaster, the overall winners of the competition were Port Regis in Dorset.

The Inglefield House gymnastics team have now been invited to visit the British School Brussels for a weekend full of fun and gymnastics, and have entered the Welsh Schools Floor and Vault and Novis Championships in December where they will be looking for strong results and possibly a position on the medal rostrum.
