With only Mike Jones unavailable, Undy Athletic manager Mark Crook was able to shake the pack slightly and also select a strong bench for the visit of Presteigne St Andrews.

Within four minutes Undy were awarded a penalty as Beckett was scythed down in the box but Kel Stevens' strike was well saved by Richards, who pushed the ball around the post for a corner.

From the resulting corner from Gyles Thompson, everyone watched as the ball went directly into the net at the front post for 1-0.

It was 2-0 on 11 minutes as a neat bit of link play saw Thompson deliver a great cross which striker Ollie Beckett flicked into the net with a precise header at the front post.

The game really came to life on 14 minutes when a badly misjudged challenge on Winstone by Stevens saw all hell break loose as Winstone reacted by stamping on Stevens on the floor then attempting to head butt him. Players rushed in to calm the situation and both players involved were shown red cards.

This obviously sparked the visitors into life as by the 38th minute it was all square as poor defending resulted in two decent headers from Sutton and Ives levelling the match.

There was still more drama to come as Thompson swung in another corner on 41 minutes and the unfortunate Richards dropped the ball into the net to give Undy a 3-2 lead.

The second half intent from Undy was obvious and superior fitness seemed to be making a difference.

Tom Hooper came close to making it 4-2 when his curling shot hit the woodwork on 64 minutes.

On 68 minutes the visitors were reduced to nine men when Dyer was shown a second yellow card.

It really was all uphill now for Prestiegne and the unfortunate Sutton, who had played well throughout, put through his own goal on 80 minutes as Thompson's corner found him at the back post and his header flew in.

Thompson was involved in everything and he had a chance to claim his hat-trick on 81 minutes but his effort flew just wide of the post.

He made no mistake on 84 minutes though as he burst through and rounded Richards to slot home for his third of the game.

The drama wasnt over though as Ben Roberts clipped an opponent on 93 minutes and was shown a second yellow card and got his marching orders.
