JD?Welsh Cup (First Round) - Monmouth Town FC 4 Ynysygerwn FC 1

MONMOUTH Town progressed to the second round of the JD Welsh Cup after a 4-1 victory at home to Ynysygerwn FC on Saturday (7th October).

The visitors, in Welsh League Division Three, took the lead through James Newell but Monmouth struck back with two goals from Lewis Clare, one from Elliot Ford and an own goal.

Following the result Monmouth have been drawn away against fellow Welsh League Division One side Penybont.
