Monmouth Town AFC held a two-day Soccer Camp at Monmouth Sports ground 15th and 16th August, which was a huge success with more than 30 boys and girls enjoying the activities.

The event was sponsored by FAW Vauxhall Fun Football programme.

The camp provided an opportunity for boys and girls of all abilities to play the game in a safe, fun, learning environment.

Football Association of Wales accredited, Monmouth Town AFC, follows the FAW's strict guidelines to ensure the highest levels of coaching and child safeguarding are maintained.

Monmouth Town director of football Barry Burns said: "It was fantastic to see all the kids enjoying themselves over the two days despite the atrocious conditions, the coaches were impressed with to quality of the football played which bodes well for the future of Monmouth Town AFC."
