CALDICOT RFC's Veterans team enjoyed a comfortable victory in a muddy encounter at Caldicot Leisure Centre.

Dave Winser and Jonathan Williams scored two tries each with Nolan Evans and Simon Little also crossing the line. Neil Whatley kicked one conversion while the NAW's try was scored by Vincent Bailey.

The NAW club – who play rugby to raise money and awareness for bowel cancer – were warming up for a match at Cardiff Arms Park on Friday 6th February against a House of Commons and Lords XV.

The match, which kicks off at 2pm, will be a curtain-raiser for the Six Nations opener between Wales and England at the Millennium Stadium later in the evening.
