Monmouth 1st XV and Druids beat their Usk counterparts convincingly home and away on Boxing Day in the traditional derby games.

The hard fought but good spirited afternoon game produced eight tries in all and some classy play despite the awful conditions, with Monmouth in the end holding on for a 35-20 win.
