Any girls between the ages of seven and 12 that fancy their chances of playing in an all female football team are urged to go along to the Astroturf by Monmouth Leisure Centre.

The organisers are hoping to run a regular team to play in friendly matches and are short of numbers to make up a team.

Anyone interested can come along any Saturday morning between 10am and 11.30am.

And if your dad is interested in helping to coach, a second pair of hands is always welcome says coach Dave Uttley.
