The game went ahead despite bitter conditions and and Chepstow took winning honours by 7 - 3 after a lively hour of constant play. Both sides have raised over £200 between them for Orchid, Asda's new chosen charity.
Like Everyman, Asda's former charity, it is a male cancer-fighting charity andthey are keen to continue raising funds.
Chepstow were most magnanimous in their victory, however, and have invited the Asda team for a return match on their home ground when the weather is more clement.
