For those people who did not attend Handel’s Messiah by Candlelight, performed at St Bridget’s Church Skenfrith, you missed a real treat.

This was the third year that this superb musical production has been performed. From the exceptional soloists and wonderfully exuberant choir to the talented instrumentalists, the whole was under the persuasive hands of conductor Ian Russell. Special thanks should be accorded to Nelson Whaley and Vyvyan Brooks who, as usual, brought everyone together.
