On behalf of the Brockweir Cycleway Action Group I would like to extend my thanks to those of you who signed the petition regarding the proposal of a Wye Valley Cycleway last year.
This petition was presented to the Hewelsfield and Brockweir Parish Council at their December meeting and following a very interesting debate the Parish Council wrote to the Wye Valley AONB regarding the cycleway and the concerns of the Parish Council about the lack of public consultation.
The petition clearly showed that the majority of people are opposed to the route of this cycleway; the ratio was 15-1 against.
