SIR Thank you very much for your support at this year's Women's World Day of Prayer (WWDP) service at Monmouth Methodist Church on Friday 6th March. The service, prepared by the Christian women of the Bahamas was very uplifting and the theme was 'Jesus said to them, do you know what I have done for you?' I would like to thank those who took part in the service and helped in any way and a special thank you to the organist, Mrs Jenny Newman. The congregation were very generous in their donations to the WWDP and the excellent sum of £331.65 was raised. Next year's service will be organised by St James's Church, Wyesham, and the theme will be 'Receive children, Receive me,' and the service will be written by the women of Cuba.
