An Abergavenny woman who stole more than £100,000 from a Monmouth business was sentenced to 22 months in prison last Friday (14th October).
Michelle Suzanne Ricketts stole a total of £106,735 from water firm Siltbuster Ltd by using forged invoices and faked credit card transactions over a 13 month period.
She used the money to buy drugs, holidays and clothes.
The 32-year-old had access to the company's purchase ledger as part of her job duties.
Ricketts pleaded guilty to four counts of theft, two of making false representations, one of fraud by abuse of position, one of attempting to steal, six of false accounting and one of failing to surrender to bail.
