An 84-year-old Coleford woman seemed fine after a fall in a Monmouth street, and drank tea in a cafe, an inquest heard.

But Eileen Thomas began to feel unwell as she arrived home and died six days later in hospital from bleeding around the brain.

Gloucestershire assistant deputy coroner Katy Skerrett was told that Mrs Thomas, of The Horsepool, Berry Hill, often went out with her sister-in-law Beryl Knight.
