Ten guardsmen serving with the Welsh Guards formed a guard of

honour for the wedding of fellow Welsh Guardsman, Sergeant David Haines, at St Michael and All Angels Church in Mitchel Troy last Saturday (4th February).

Blushing bride Kay Emmanuel and her husband, who live in Maindee, Newport, chose the church because it has a lot of family history for the 25-year-old bride and was the church where her parents renewed their wedding vows.

Sergeant David Haines, 26, will return to the front line next month for his second tour of Afghanistan with his best man Paul Liddy.
