THE appalling state of a stretch of road at the back of the Chippenham Surgery has already caused several accidents. One woman even required hospital treatment after falling in one of the big holes there. Her fall was witnessed by Monmouth Town Councillor John Fletcher who has been desperately trying to find out who is responsible for the piece of road. "I've been to the One Stop Shop on several occasions and to be fair they've rung around but they can't find out who the road belongs to. "We can't blame anyone until we know who is responsible."
