Where was the conservation officer?

MADAM,

The treatment by council of the paving round Shire Hall is indeed a disgrace.

It is done a few slabs at a time, they don’t think we will notice.

I would like to add another area of Monmouth where an old pathway has been destroyed by the council; it is rumoured in town the some 15 metres of kerbing was removed from St John Street and dumped. The council replaced it with concrete!

This is in a conservation area. Where was the conservation officer when this vandalism was carried out?
