SIR,
Paul Silk chairs the Commission on Devolution in Wales which is currently reviewing the powers of the National Assembly for Wales.
Here he outlines why the Commission's work is important to every person in Monmouth and why you should get involved.
What do you think about Welsh devolution? How could it be improved? Do you think Westminster and Cardiff Bay are responsible for the right things? Do you have ideas for how Wales could be better served by the Welsh Assembly and the UK Parliament? These are just some of the questions the commission wants to hear your views on.
This year we are reviewing the powers of the National Assembly for Wales and during May and June we will be visiting communities across Wales to hear people's views. We are holding a public meeting at the Shire Hall in Monmouth on Wednesday 22nd May at 6.30pm, come along and have your say.
Your views are important to us and will play a key role in helping us with our work. Our events, however, are only one way of engaging with us. On our website you can find further information on devolution and share your views with us through our online forums and a questionnaire. We want to hear from as many people as possible so I would encourage everyone to get involved and join the debate.
Paul Silk
