A reasonable week of fishing although the total number of fish caught was lower than the previous week. Strong winds made casting very difficult on several occasions for boat and bank anglers.
Fish were rising but during the early mornings and late afternoons. The visitors that caught were G.Price five fish-11lb 10oz; J.M.Candle two fish-4lb 10oz; W.D.Candle two fish-4lb 9oz; Rosie Gunn 2 fish-4lb 12oz, Mike Wall two fish-3lb 13oz; D.Bell four fish-10lb 2oz, and E.T.Hancock one fish-3lb 7oz which was his first catch at Wentwood for several seasons.
