SIR,

Community health councils, the independent NHS watchdogs in Wales, are seeking patients' experiences of accessing GP services.

The simple online questionnaire explores issues such as the ease of getting an urgent and routine GP appointment, how long patients are having to wait in surgery beyond their appointment time, and whether they are restricted to discussing one issue per appointment.

Good as well as poor experiences will be equally valuable and feedback can be given in complete confidence.

The survey will enable us to compare the experiences of patients across Wales.

The survey, which takes only a few minutes to compete, can be accessed by visiting http://www.communityhealthcouncils.org.uk/aneurinbevan/">www.communityhealthcouncils.org.uk/aneurinbevan/
