A special visitor popped in to see pupils of Osbaston Primary School during a school play rehearsal on Monday (20th June).

Veteran actor Victor Spinetti came along to give children from Years 5 and 6 advice and feedback on their production of Bugsy Malone.

Famous for his roles in three Beatles' films (A Hard Day's Night, Help! and Magical Mystery Tour), Mr Spinetti also starred in Under Milk Wood alongside Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

The actor has a special connection with Osbaston Primary School as his great nephew, Josh Hughes, is a pupil there.

Mr Spinetti said: "The children have been picking up my advice very quickly.

"It's no good having nerves. The purpose of a stage is to get on it."
