Wednesday 16th July will see the launch of a new website containing information on Village and Community Halls in Monmouthshire For the past eighteen months Rural Community Action in partnership with the Monmouthshire Village and Community Halls Forum have been working on a definitive online directory of all the halls in the County. This project will enable the 90 plus Community facilities within Monmouthshire to market their village halls collaboratively, as well as providing useful information for both Village Halls Committees and potential users of the halls. The website has been developed by Chapel Marketing from Raglan, and has been designed so that companies or individuals who would like to hold an event, can search for a suitable venue in their preferred location, with all the facilities they require. Shirley Hughes from Rural Community Action said 'we now ask that any facility that is not listed, and would like to be involved in this project, should do so prior to the launch at Llanishen Village Hall at 7.00pm on 16th July.
