Little Mill Village Hall is celebrating a remarkable milestone in 2025 – its 90th anniversary – and is now looking to the future by inviting new trustees to join its charity board.
The hall has been a cornerstone of the community for nine decades, hosting countless events, activities, and celebrations. As one of the area’s most valued facilities, it continues to be well used and loved by local residents.
Llanbadoc and Usk County Cllr Tony Kear who Chairs the Board of Trustees said:
“Little Mill Village Hall is a brilliant local facility, full of history and energy. It’s well used by the community, but to thrive for the next 90 years we need fresh ideas and more active administrative support. Becoming a trustee is a rewarding way to make a difference and help shape the hall’s future. If you’ve got time, energy, or ideas to share – whether it’s a little or a lot – we’d love to hear from you. No previous trustee experience is needed, just a passion for supporting your community.”
The hall’s charity status means it relies on volunteers to guide its management, oversee its activities, and ensure it continues to serve the community. Trustees play a vital role in bringing forward new ideas, supporting fundraising, and ensuring the hall remains sustainable for generations to come.
Little Mill Village Hall welcomes expressions of interest from anyone in the community who wants to contribute their skills, enthusiasm, or time.
