FANS of the famous Flying Scotsman steam locomotive were able to get a glimpse when the recently renovated engine passed through Monmouthshire.
After a 10-year, £4.2million refurbishment by the National Railway Museum, the legendary locomotive passed through Magor and Severn Tunnel on Wednesday (8th June) on it’s journey from Crewe to London Paddington.
A large crowd of onlookers greeted the engine, with packed stations and bridges in Magor and Severn Tunnel, before the locomotive continued its journey through the Severn Tunnel onwards to London.
