On a wet and windy afternoon Usk visited Caldicot in a battle for league points.
In the first half Usk were battling against the elements and had to resolutely defend their line.
During this period winger Will Morgan fielded the ball behind his own goal line and ran the ball out. After slick passing with Emlyn Jones, the ball reached Man of the Match Ben Papp, who offloaded to prop Rob Siddons for a try under the posts.
Mike James duly converted to give Usk seven points. In the second half Andy Farrell made another break, for the ball to be passed to Andy Pearce, who scored the try.
The final result was a victory for Usk by 12 points to 5.
