I am amazed that UKIP cannot duplicate in Monmouth area the success it is having elsewhere in the UK.

As you are aware I was fortunate to have a letter published by your good selves giving details of the new treasurer, chair and secretary in the new Monmouth branch, including my telephone number, and I was not stampeded with phone calls.

Who have we running the country today? Far too many millionaires: 21 out of about 27 members of the cabinet. Too much influence by the LibDems who are losing out all over at last. The outlook: for the country to be run by Labour? God forbid. What so many do not realise is, that means far too great an influence by the trade unions, how can they successfully run as a business anyway, let alone one as big as Great Britain.

UKIP is the only Party that truly wants to do what the majority of UK citizens want: get out of the EU.

The EU countries buy far more from the UK than we do from them. So no problem there.

We should deal with the Commonwealth again, more countries than the EU and they're doing better economically.

The EU controls about 70 per cent of our new laws, the amount of influence on small businesses is ludicrous.

A most successful restaurant in Swansea has to close because they cannot keep up with the EU bureaucracy, paperwork, rules and regulations: unbelievable.

If we continue to be ruled by the EU it will be the ruination of the UK, with or without Scotland.
