Pupils from Tutshill Church Of England Primary School provided the finishing touches to the O2 Chirstmas tree in Chepstow as part of a gift appeal for Barnardo's Cymru.
The youngsters were asked to take part in making their own decorations so they could learn a little about what Barnardo's Cymru can do for disadvantaged children.
All students were invited to the O2 store in Chepstow to hang their decorations and see the finished tree.
Customers were asked to judge the decorations with one lucky winner taking home a family ticket to see Snow White at the Grand Pavilion in Porthcawl.
O2 stores across south Wales took part in activities with Barnardo's Cymru to encourage people to create a Christmas a child will remember.
Marketing manager Emma Davies said: "We felt it was an important part of the Barnardo's activity to engage young people in the local area.
"We're extremely excited that Tutshill Primary School took part and we look forward to awarding the 'best decoration' prize to the lucky winner."
