FOR the eighth year running, Trellech Primary School held its much-loved talent show.

Organised and run by the PTFA, this year was another fabulous evening of entertainment with talent galore.

Chair of Trellech PTFA, Fiona McColgan, said: "The children were brilliant. They have been rehearsing for weeks and always perform to their best on the night spurred-on by the electric atmosphere in the hall.

"We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved, especially our eloquent compère Lisa Rogers, our three judges; Abbie Gadd, Paul de St Croix and Andrew Griffiths. A huge thanks must also go to Lucy Joy who rehearsed with the children and prompted them when required, on the night. The whole show ran smoothly thanks to the magnificent efforts of our Year 6 stage crew".

There were 11 hotly contested prize categories catering for the most enthusiastic to the most entertaining. The over all Best Infant Act was awarded to Coco Payne, Year 2, for her rendition of Mamma Mia.

Best Junior Act went to Hannah Rogers, Year 4, singing Somewhere Only We Know.

It was another successful night for all involved, and a great opportunity to showcase some of the diverse talent at Trellech Primary School. Trellech certainly has got talent!
