Along with three benches, Waitrose Monmouth also donated a tree for the skatepark and at the official opening on Saturday, directors of Monmouth Off Street Project were on hand to assist Diane Lee from Waitrose Monmouth plant the tree between the newly built Skatepark and BMX Pumptrack.

Elliott Pardington from MOSP said: "We still have quite a lot of landscaping to do on the site, and along with planting grass seed and wild flowers, we intend to plant further trees and shrubs around the park, so we are very grateful for the donated tree from

Waitrose".
