MADAM,

I have a few suggestions on the bottle neck at the top of Monnow Street.

1. Lorries should come into Monmouth using the new bridge only.

2. Lorries delivering up as far as the Co-op could leave via the new bridge.

3. The remainder of lorries up on Monnow Street should make their deliveries and leave town via Priory Street.

4. Small traffic coming into the town from the top traffic lights enter Monnow Street via Agincourt Street and Glendower Street.

Small traffic from Wye Bridge Street is no problem.

I see no reason why our council cannot contact our local traders and advise them that all HGV access to Monnow Street should be from the new bridge.
