MONMOUTH Under 18's travelled to lowly Cefn Forest on Sunday hoping to continue their good run of results in both cup and league, but despite good performances by Greg Jones and Ashley Ford in midfield, they could only manage to come away with a 1-1 draw.

Luke Harris scored the Town goal from the penalty spot and Dan Williams was unlucky to find the Forest keeper in good form with several good efforts late on.

Monmouth Town U15's unbeaten

run comes to an end.

In a well fought match, Mardy U15's came out on top winning 3-1 against Monmouth Town U15's.  Mardy opened the scoring with a 35 yard cross come shot that sailed over the Monmouth keeper in the strong prevailing winds.  Mardy continued pressing Monmouth who were lack lustre at times, until they scored once more just before half time with a break through Monmouth's offside trap.

Monmouth started the second half with a little more promise but were soon pegged back with another breakaway goal from Mardy, which looked suspiciously offside, but was well taken by the Mardy striker.

Monmouth continued to make chances until finally scoring with 15 minutes to go.  It looked as if they might get back into the game with chance after chance going begging, which they failed to convert and the score remained 3-1 to Mardy.
