A GENEROUS donation was made to Overmonnow Primary School’s Special Needs Resource Space thanks to the town’s shoppers.

Staff from Marks and Spencer presented a cheque for £926.13 at the school, having raised money throughout the year with events including a bake sale, spin bike challenge and book sale. Money collected in pots at the tills also went towards the donation.

Deb Beech, teacher and treasurer for the charity, thanked Cathy Hinton and Alex Watkins from M&S and customers for their generosity. They are pictured with children from Class 9 at Overmonnow.
