A top tennis coach from New Zealand is in town working with an LTA coach from Monmouth.
Mark Milburn, who works at the prestigious Queenstown Tennis Club on New Zealand's South Island, is observing senior club coach Chris Davis in a range of tennis settings.
While he is in England, Mark will also take the chance to watch one of his junior players, 18-year-old Ben McLachlan, who is competing at Junior Wimbledon.
Chris' son Adam visited New Zealand last year as part of a year-long trip around the world, and was stunned by the setting and quality of tennis coaching at Queenstown.
"It was amazing," said Adam, "Mark is a superb coach and I learnt so much from watching him and his squad and club players."
On Adam's return, Chris invited Mark to Monmouth, and Mark was delighted to accept.
"It has been a great joy to be here and I have been very impressed by the tennis programmes offered locally," said Mark.
