Last weekend's Woodpecker Stages attracted possibly the best entry of any British event this year. 160 crews gathered at Ludlow Racecourse for the penultimate round of the MSA Gravel Championship, BTRDA Gold and Silver Star and Hankook Welsh National series.
Bob Morgan and Adie Williams in the Winner Garage Impreza took top local honours finishing 24th overall, 10th in group N, despite losing all the brakes on the last stage.
Bob's son Jason, with Gareth Pritchard on the notes, was out in his new Winner Hire Impreza for only the second time and had a trouble-free run to 63rd, 16th in class.
