Monmouthshire has a new head of policing.
Chief inspector Jo Bull (pictured) took over from Superintendent Mark Sutton, who is retiring, on Monday (3rd October).
Chief Inspector Bull said: "I am proud to be taking this responsibility in an area where I also live with my family.
"Monmouthshire is a safe place to live, work and visit and I am determined that we will continue to deliver a policing service that reassures the community of this.
"During the past year, crime levels and the number of anti-social behaviour incidents have fallen, with offenders being brought to justice for in excess of one in three crimes.
