One of the fittest 60-year-olds in Monmouth, Tim McCord, a former Monmouth young rugby coach and chairman, rode through Monmouth on Wednesday 3rd July.
Tim is riding for Max Davies and Ted Senior, both 22 years old, who tragically took their own lives in 2018, and he stopped in Monmouth to meet Tracey Davies and Diana Senior.
Both families have set up charities to fund education and support to prevent tragedies such as these happening to other families: The Ted Senior Foundation and The Mindstep Foundation.
Tim’s ride is unsupported and will take nine days in total, 960 miles, 42,000 feet of climbing and 600,000 heartbeats! Tim’s efforts have already raised more than £3,000. If you would like to support Tim in his efforts go to www.gofundme.com/riding-for-Max-and-Ted
