A MONMOUTH nursery is celebrating its success after receiving a glowing Estyn report.
Tiny Beginnings was deemed to be at least 'good' or 'excellent' in all assigned areas of evaluation.
Kate Guy-Coombes, owner-manager at Tiny Beginnings, said: "We are delighted with the outcome of the Estyn report. Our provisions in learning and teaching were both classed as being 'excellent'. We believe it is due to the good quality staff we have at the nursery and a structure tailored for what the children need.
"There is continual outdoor provision for the children at the nursery, meaning they can play indoors and outdoors, this is particularly lovely for our boys.
"We have also worked very hard and spent a lot to make sure we are up-to-date in the foundation phase of education."
Bridgit Reeves, also owner-manager at Tiny Beginnings, said: "Our goals going into 2014 will be to build on the success we already have. Tiny Beginnings was an existing nursery when we bought it, and in 2008 the nursery was deemed as being 'good' by Estyn. We've improved since then and hope to continue improving in the future."
