Monmouth sprinter Ryan Lee competed at Yeovil Olympiads athletics stadium on Saturday 18th June in the McCain junior young athletics league.
Ryan won his heat of the 100m in a time of 11.5 seconds and also won his 200m race in a time of 23.5 seconds.
Both races comprised of two full heats and Ryan was the overall winner of both.
Ryan also ran the last leg of the 4x100m relay. At the baton change, Ryan's team Cwmbran were in second place by about 10 meters.
Ryan soon ran the athlete in front of him down, giving Cwmbran their first 4x100m win for some time.
There was strong opposition on the day as Swindon, who were the overall competition winners, had a number of very good athletes, congratulations must go to all of the athletes from Cwmbran Harriers as they all played a huge part in a very successful days events.
Ryan is now set to compete this Saturday (2nd July) at Brecon in the Welsh schools finals.
