THOUSANDS of music fans gathered in Chepstow over the bank holiday weekend for Feeder’s homecoming.
Frontman Grant Nicholos, who grew up in Chepstow before moving to London where the band was eventually formed, returned home with the band who played for more than 90 minutes in front of a packed Chepstow Racecourse crowd.
There was a DJ set from Propaganda, as well as support from Newport band The Dirty Youth as well as Wide Eyed Boy, before the main event.
The Homecoming saw the band re-visit some of their biggest and best Top 20 hits such as Feeling A Moment, Buck Rogers, Just The Way I’m Feeling and Insomnia.
The band also treated fans to a five-song encore which included the live debut of upcoming track Figure You Out and a performance of Sweet 16, a song from the band’s 21-year-old release Swim.
Feeder have had nine full length studio releases and have amassed five million record sales along with three Platinum and two Gold albums.
The band’s ninth and most recent album ‘All Bright Electric’ reached a top 10 chart position. Their new ‘The Best Of’ album will be released on 28th September.
