THIEVES struck in Raglan last week as farm machinery was stolen from Raglan Parc Golf Club and the grounds of Raglan Castle in the same night.

A utility vehicle worth around £10,000 was taken from the golf club in the early hours of Friday 30th April, along with an air compressor.

Police confirmed that a Gaitor utility vehicle, which is not for road use, was stolen from an open-sided storage barn at Raglan Parc Golf Club.

The thieves did not get into the golf shop or club house.

Raglan Castle was burgled between 4pm last Thursday and 7.30am the following day, said Gwent Police.
