SIR, I'd like to thank all your readers who have and continue to support our local British Heart Foundation (BHF) shops. From those who have donated items, purchased goods or given their time to volunteer, you have all contributed to our Monmouth, Abergavenny and Chepstow shops' success. This help has enabled the BHF to fund £5 million of research projects in Wales as well as 302 Heartstart schemes which give emergency life support and CPR training in local schools and businesses. All BHF shops have an in-store community board with information on local events, nearby heart support groups and patient leaflets and information.
